It’s been described as the biggest boating disaster in Russia’s modern history. In the space of just three minutes, a pleasure cruiser with 208 people onboard went down in the Volga river, taking over half of its passengers with it. Kazakhstan – a country, not city. and it was made in the Czech Republic and the ship was formerly called “Ukraine”, and last year was renamed the “Bulgaria”

Money is simply a commodity valued as a medium of exchange, if it wasn’t illegal to do so it would be perfectly possible for private mints and payment methods to provide monetary services.

A state does not coordinate economic activity, economic activity is coordinated by literally billions of ever changing prices and time preferences of producers and consumers (see On The Use Of Knowledge In Society)

You are correct about the Volga river. I didn’t know that the ship was manufactured in the Czech Republic. (Maybe, it had been to a city in Kazakhstan.)

I’m wondering is she might have been on some sort of sedative. If my child was (possibly) in that ship. I’d want to be there; as stressful as it might be.
This is so sad; it could have been prevented with proper licensing and inspection. Overloading it was inexcusable!!!
