When the pack fell apart, Reyu was at once happy for his freedom and hurt as he lost track of the only two others that meant anything to him -- his almost-mate and the young wolf they had more or less raised together. Life had taught him to be resilient, however, and he ended up taking on a job at a pegasus racing stable. This didn’t last either, but it gave him time to save up the money for his current life. He bought a piece of land with a simple house and a small pasture and barn. He keeps to himself for the most part, content with the company of his Australian Cattle Dog, Auley, and the pegasus he was given the opportunity to keep, Echo. His personality is as inconducive to socializing as ever. He tends to be very silent, only speaking when he feels something needs to be said, and generally keeping to himself. Believe it or not, he can be pleasant to be around if you manage to get close to him.
Reyu is both wolf and human, a shape-shifter not governed by the moon’s phases. Born with one blood-red eye deemed a ‘demon eye’ by his pack, he was cast out as he grew older and began to show signs of powers connected to it. Unfortunately, he was taken in by a much more sinister group. For the most part, he was able to stay out of their more cruel objectives, and he did actually come out of it with something positive. They were a pack of powerful individuals, all of them having impressive abilities. They taught him well, made sure that he discovered all of his own gifts. The eye seems to govern his ability to get to the truth of the matter, so to speak. He can see a shape-shifter’s true form, pick out things others may not see such as demons, ghosts, and other spirits. He can sometimes pick up on someone’s current thoughts if he is looking directly at them. Beyond those abilities, he is also telekinetic.
